Blackbridge House Bed & Breakfast Accommodation is situated just outside the Spa Town of Lisdoonvarna. The picture just below gives you an idea of the beautiful view from our Bed and Breakfast. Although this accommodation is situated in a quite area, it is only 5 minutes walk from Lisdoonvarna Town.

Lisdoonvarna is a pretty place with the typical settings of a small Irish Market Town and has a variety of nightly musical entertainment. There is Traditional Irish Music playing in some of the local pubs and you can find Country Style Music in some of the bars. You have not seen Ireland until you have seen Lisdoonvarna.
  There are great walks all around for the hikers among you, or if you like painting, there is an ample supply of beautiful sceneries all around us. If you want to be pampered, try the Lisdoonvarna Spa Wells Health Centre.To keep the children happy, you can take them to Fanore Beach or you can bring them to Lahinch Beach, where they can also enjoy a swim in the indoor pool, if the weather is not what you'd want it to be. And you can visit Lahinch Seaworld or the Amusement Arcade.  The well known village of Doolin is only four miles from Lisdoonvarna. From there you can take a ferry to the Aran Islands for a day trip or even a cruise around the famous Cliffs of Moher. If the sea does not take your fancy you can visit the Cliffs of Moher by road and visit the many sites and attractions around North Clare, like The Burren and the Aillwee Cave to name just a couple. The Burren is a vast area, which stretches from Lisdoonvarna to Doolin, from Doolin to the north to Ballyvaughan and as far as New Quay, than back south to Corofin and via Kilfenora back to Lisdoonvarna. All of these are places not to be missed. |
