Burren Lodge B&B is a well-established family run Bed & Breakfast only 2km from Athlone, the heart of Ireland. It makes an ideal location for touring the Midlands, River Shannon, Athlone and Clonmacnoise. We are midway between Dublin and Galway on the N6, close to the roundabout at Kilmartins N6 Centre and adjacent to the Creggan Court Hotel.
Burren Lodge is the perfect place to stop for your journey. Our parking facilities make it easy to come and go as you wish and for the cyclist we have plenty of storage space for your bikes. Our house is non-smoking. Our bedrooms (3 Ensuite/1 Standard) are fully fitted with TVs, Tea/Coffee Facilities, Hairdryers, Electric blankets are fitted on each bed just incase you find our climate a little cooler than yours! Our home is centrally heated throughout. Guests can also take the opportunity to relax in our lounge in front of the open turf fire or enjoy a summer's evening relaxing in the garden.
While on holiday in Athlone there are a wide variety of things to do and places to see to suit everyone's interests! There are great pubs and restaurants to visit. All you have to do is ask and we'll be more than happy to recommend some to you.
