MEETS NEW
One of the more pleasant social tennis
events is the annual Old meets Newnight.
It is the chance for new members to meet a few of the older members and a
chance for the oldmembers to show new members why the club has a good
reputation as a friendly place to be. |
BRIDGE
Last year a number of Bridge Nights were held in the Club. They were quite
well attended and proved
that the Function Room makes an ideal venue for Bridge.It is substantially
more comfortablethan some
of the places in Bray used for Bridge. For some reason, the Bridge Nights
then petered out, and it is open
to anyone who is interested to take the initiative and reintroduced them.
There are enough people
already playing Bridge to have about six tables. |
