This one of the largestt lakes in the Carrickmacross area. It offers a very varied stock of fish. This was the most famous of the local lakes in the early years of Coarse angling inthe area. Fishing is especially good from the woods on the road side of the lake. Specimen fish are found in this all year round lake. There is an excellent bank around the lake for shore fishing.
