Chorus Digital

Welcome to this special feature on Chorus Communication's new digital TV service, full details of which were finally announced on 2nd October 2000, and which was launched on 20th October 2000.

Chorus Digital is the first digital television system specifically aimed at Irish viewers and catering for their tastes. It is the first to offer digital versions of RTE1, N2, TV3, and TG4. In addition, the core BBC and ITV digital services are available (although currently, the "extra" services, such as Choice, News 24, and BBC FOUR are not). 40 conventional TV channels, along with 16 pay per view screens, are available to viewers. As well as this, highspeed internet access and telephone services are included in the price, in areas where they are available.

Most of the information in this section, was correct as of October 2000, and as such is now wildly out of date. I am attempting to secure up to date information on the Chorus Digital service. Updated pricing is now available, thank you Chorus for finally updating your website!
