The club was reformed back in 1969 after a number of years without a soccer team Some of the people responsible for the start up of the club are still members to-day. The club played its first game in ,69 at The Fort Hill and after moving pitches 6 times between 69 and 85 the club returned to The Fort Hill after talks with the Cork County Council to develop the waste ground which has been our home for the last 17 years.
The biggest decision was taken by the club 6 years ago when because of the lack of players the committee decided to disband the Premier team to concentrate on the then 3rd division team which consisted of a mixture mature players and a lot of promising young players. The Club achievements over the last number of years can only verify that the decision taken then was indeed the right one.
