Choirs The School of Music also includes four choirs: Enchiriadis Junior's Choir caters for unbroken voices of 12-18 years. They rehearse on Tuesday (7-8.15pm) evenings in St. Oliver Plunkett's N.S. Please contact Eithne Collier at 845 3433 or send us an email. Enchiriadis Youth Choir is a mixed-voice choir for 16-30 year olds. They meet on Sundays in the Presbyterian Church Hall (6.30-7.45pm). New members, especially tenors and altos welcome. They have won at many competitions and have toured in Germany, Italy, Isle of Man and Spain. This is a lively, friendly choir of a high standard for men and women who enjoy singing with others and wish to improve their ability to sing as well as expand their understanding of music. Founded in 1994. New members, especially men welcome. Ability to read music is helpful but not essential: tapes of the lines and sight-reading classes are available. Enchiriadis Treis has performed in Malahide, Howth, Rush, Carrickmacross, Cavan, Waterford, Prague, Kutna Hora, Havlickuv Brod, London as well as in several venues in Dublin, including performances at the National Concert Hall. Future plans include a trip to Budapest. They meet on Thursday evenings in Pobal Scoil Iosa. If you would like to sing with us |
